Joe started riding horses at the early age of 5 in NC. He won the Wild Cow Milking Contest in the Days of 47 Cowboy games and rodeo in Salt Lake City, Utah and won numerous Rodeo Jackpots for team roping in Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden Utah. Joe trained quarter horses while stationed in Japan, he enjoys competing in the Bill Picket Rodeo and continues to ride and train horses in MD.  He loves giving back to the community by supporting Feed the homeless organizations, Pep Rally for Peace in the Streets DC and CFC. Joe Retired after 22 years of service in the US Army.

Angel is a Native, New Yorker, her parents introduced her to horseback riding as a teen, after meeting Joe, she learned the true meaning of horseback riding and competing as 1 with her horse.  Many years passed, and the love for riding horses has returned.  In 2013, Angel competed in the Bill Pickett Rodeo relay on the team "The TRUTH" we came in 2nd place.  She enjoys participating annually in the Bill Pickett Rodeo, helping to keep the black Cowboy/Cowgirl legacy alive.  Angel loves sharing the love of horses with others young and old, setting a positive example and edifying others is a major goal.  She gives back to the community by supporting various events.  Angel feels blessed to have her daughter and husband often riding by her side.  She’s grateful to be a founding member of  The TRUTH. Angel, enjoys giving and helping others, it is then you know the meaning of the expression “it is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Jazzy first sat on a horse at 5, it's been love at horse sight since then.  At 9 she requested to go horseback riding for her birthday.  Joe happily put her on Brandi and set her free to enjoy her love for horses, while teaching her the true meaning of riding and caring for horses.

I'm Tony, true CITY... Born and raised in the streets of  Brooklyn, New York.  I was introduced to the western way of life by Angel and Joe.  I sat on a horse in NY City and thought I was riding before,  but I have been shown and I am continuing to learn from "The TRUTH" what true riding is.  I’m telling you this year "2019" has been a blessing.  Angel has taken me out riding on numerous occasions teaching and instructing along the way.  Just seeing her JOYOUS smiles and GLEE, tells me I'm in the right place.  Joe, the KNOWLEDGE and LOVE you have for us all .... I don't have any words other than GRATEFUL and HONORED to be amongst The TRUTH. This experience has been THERAPEUTIC and HUMBLING and now has become a part of my life. LOVE YA ALWAYS.THE TRUTH has truly set me free.
