We are a family oriented equestrian group located in the Maryland (DC Metro area). We have over 40 years of horsemanship experience. We provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual has an opportunity to develop leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

 

It is with honor and pride that we tell the history of Black Cowboys/Cowgirls. Their impact on the American Old West as cowpunchers, cowhands, ropers, bulldoggers, US Marshals and settlers of the west. We have various events and we also have many ways we give back to the surrounding communities.

 

As a tribute to our roots and as a former member  of the Rough Riders Horsemen Association we salute the founding members of the original Rough Riders Horsemen of Maryland. We commend them for their contributions to the DC Metro area.
